Highland CA freshman Daniel Rodriguez placed 45th in the Division 1-2 boys team sweepstakes race, clocking 15:44.4 -- the second-fastest time among all ninth-graders in the meet -- on the 2.93-mile course at the 70th Mt. SAC Invitational. Rodriguez also set the Bulldogs freshman record.
